I have spare cleats that I bought before and I want to buy new golf shoes and not waste these.

It’s not the brand (Softspikes…) that you need to look at, it’s the spike insert system.
All (current) golf shoes have 1 of 4 spike insert systems:
Fast-twist
QFit
Metal Thread
Large Plastic Thread
Look at the type of insert system of your current spikes, then look for shoes that are compatible with them.
